“When you prepare a meal with artful awareness, it’s delicious and healthy. You have put your mindfulness, love and care into the meal, then people will be eating your love. People can fully enjoy the meal with body and mind, just like you enjoy a beautiful work of art. Eating is not only nourishing for the body, but also for the mind.” Thich Nhat Hanh- How to Eat
We hope you can join us for our first online weekend retreat. We will be making vegan recipes: Chuối Xào Dừa -a delightful Vietnamese dish of coconut and special bananas to refresh you on a warm autumn day; Rong biển cuộn nướng -a nutritious, healthy Vietnamese wrap of tofu and seaweed, baked; Hủ tiếu -a Southern Vietnam noodle soup favorite, and Pâté chaud -Vietnamese savory puff pastries, buttery, flaky, a perfect on-the-go snack.
